Fuel Economy
The 2023 Jeep Wrangler has some of its segment’s most efficient EPA fuel economy estimates. Its most fuel-efficient model, powered by a diesel engine, has a fuel economy of 22 mpg on city roads and 29 mpg on the highway. Engine and performance
The new 2023 Jeep Wrangler lineup has the standard 285-hp 3.6-liter V-6 retained from the earlier generation. But it can now be coupled with a six-speed manual gearbox or an eight-speed automatic. In addition, there is the option of including a turbocharged four-cylinder engine. This is combined with an electric motor for slight extra power.
Also, buyers have the option of equipping their Jeep with a 3.0-liter diesel V-6, a 375-hp plug-in hybrid 4xe powertrain, or a 6.4-liter V-8. Since the Wranglers are made for off-road capabilities, all the rims come with the standard four-wheel drive, which can be controlled with a lever on the center console.
In regards to the transmission power, the base two-door Wrangler Sport equipped with a V-6 engine and six-speed manual transmission can go from zero to 60 mph in about 6 seconds. Interiors
The Jeep Wrangler has been designed for off-roading adventures. So there should not be much expectation in terms of spacious interiors. However, it has sufficient cargo space for gear accessories and weekly groceries. Yet, there is a significant difference in the cargo space depending on whether you have the traditional two-door Wrangler or the four-door Unlimited model. The former can hold less load than the latter. But this space cannot be expanded in either since the rear seats are not foldable.
On the upside, the interiors perfectly combine old-school and new-age Jeep, showcasing its evolution over the decades. The font is equipped with air vents, a climate-control system, power windows, and an infotainment system. Also, the windshield on the front gives a stellar and nearly-panoramic view of the trail ahead to make it easier to maneuver the vehicle on the toughest of roads. However, the view from the rear is barely there due to the heavy roof pillars, grab handles and roll bars. But this can be easily compensated with the removable doors and a top that can be opened up wherever needed.
